Miami, FL – Tastemakers, founded by the CEO of Ornare Miami, Claudio Faria, is proud to announce its evolution for the 15th annual celebration in collaboration with Junkers Aircraft, La Cuisine Appliances, Shades By Design, Tania Bulhões and Vogue Brazil. For the first time, the celebration leaves the Brazilian interiors showroom in Miami Design District for a waterfront location on Watson Island, providing the perfect backdrop to showcase the top talent in Miami’s design community.
The annually anticipated kickoff consistently honors the work of Miami’s top interior designers on the first Monday of Art Week. This year’s carefully selected honorees, Britto Charette, Creativo Design Studio, Fein Zalkin Interiors, Steven La Fonte Design, Studio Seikaly, and Tamara Feldman Design will have their work featured throughout the evening. Past honorees include Avant Design, Fanny Haim and Associates, Michael Wolk Design, Mirtha Arriaran, Pepe Calderin Design, Sofia Joelsson Design, Wecselman Design, 2id Interiors, and more.

The cocktail event, exclusively attended by influential members of the design community including designers, architects, brokers and developers will showcase activations from each participating brand, promising an immersive experience for attendees.
Shades By Design, an award-winning provider of shading solutions and home automation systems will highlight their outdoor product space at this year’s Tastemakers event. Guests will receive an exclusive first look at the Renson’s pergola system, Linarte outdoor lighting concept and custom umbrella demonstrations, intertwined with the production of the event.
Tania Bulhões, the established brand in the dining and entertainment retail space, established in Brazil for over 3 decades, known for its luxury homeware collections will showcase a beautiful table setting selection of exclusive products for guests to admire and interact with. The brand arrived in the United States this year and is set to debut new collections in Miami for the first time at the Tastemakers event.
Junkers Aircrafts, famous for pioneering all-metal aircrafts will provide a first look at its latest model, the A50 Junior two-seat aircraft. The model will be showcased as an outdoor centerpiece as its first official appearance in the United States.
La Cuisine Appliances, the one-stop-shop for upscale kitchen appliances, is opening a Miami Design District showroom soon. Representing collections from brands including Gaggenau, Dacor, SKS-Signature Kitchen Suite and more. To promote the new showroom, La Cuisine will have a presence at the Tastemakers event with executives explaining the features and healthy lifestyle benefits of the luxury appliances brands they represent, throughout the evening.
Additionally, guests will enjoy beverages by Grand Brulot: Cognac & French Brandy espresso Liqueur, Valdo Italian Processo and Quinta do Paral Vinery from Portugal.
